Piper in the Millenium Garden at the Church anniversary in 2009.

The Millennium Garden, which is to the left of St. Andrews Church, is now in its seventeenth year and is getting more beautiful each year. As it is an ongoing UCW project, we hope the time and effort in keeping it a place of beauty is taken advantage by everyone. So please stop by anytime to enjoy the variety of flowers and shrubs that are in bloom throughout the summer and fall. Judy MacPherson and Celine Peters are the main gardeners, but appreciate all the help they can get.

Feel free to help out any time.

It is a beautiful place for spiritual growth and enjoyment for all.

Remembrance Day memorial presentation given by Garry Ferguson of Matawatchan at St. Andrews United Church on November 9, 2014. Garry explains what an effect the death of two soldiers on October 20 and 22, 1914 had on Canada and compares it to the effect of the death of 60,000 Canadian soldiers during WWI. The numbers are hard to comprehend, so Garry focuses on one fallen Canadian. Multiply that by 60,000. Thank you to the Varrin family for photos and letters seen in the video.
